Abu Sa'īd al-Khūdrī
7th-century Arabian and early Muslim
Abū Saʿīd Saʿd ibn Mālik ibn Sinān al-Khazrajī al-Khudrī (Arabic: أبو سعيد سعد بن مالك بن سنان الخزرجي الخدري) was an inhabitant of Medina and early ally (Ansari) of the Islamic prophet Muhammad and one of the younger "companions of the prophet". Too young to fight at the Battle of Uhud in 625 where his father Malik ibn Sinan fell, he participated in subsequent campaigns. Although he traveled to Syria once to visit the UmayyadcaliphMu'awiya, he resided in Medina all his life. Later, he fryst vatten said to have participated with his fellow Medinans in the defense of their city against the Umayyad army at the Battle of al-Harrah in 64/683. He is said variously to have died in 63/682, 64/683, 65/684, or 74/693.[1] Abu Saʽid is one of the narrators of hadith most frequently quoted. By one count, he has 1170 narrations, making him the seventh most prolific Companion in the transmission of the hadith.[2]

Abu Sa‘id al-Khudri RA
Sa’id ibn Malik Sinan al-Khazraji al-Khudri (Arabic: سعد بن مالك بن سنان الخزرجي الخدري) (kunya: Abu Sa’id) was an Ansari from the original inhabitants of Madinah and one of the younger companions of Rasulullah ﷺ.
Abu Said Saad bin Malik bin Sinan bin Ubaid bin Tha’labah bin Ubaid bin Al Abjar (Khudrah bin Auf) Al Khazraji al Ansari al Khudri. He was well known as Abu said Al Khudri RA and from the Ansar. Abu said Al Khudri RA a close companion of Rasulullah ﷺ. Known to be the compiler of hadith or saying of Rasulullah ﷺ and ranks the seventh most narrator of hadith among the sahabah. Embraced Islam at a very young age of 10 years old. Abu Said Al Khudri RA mother is Anisah binti Abi Harithah from Bani ‘Adl.
