Her daughter, Neha Dubey, is also an actress and has acted as a bad girl and Pratyush's second wife after Akanksha who starred in Mira Nair's movie Monsoon Wedding and danced to the song "Chunari chunari," which was played during the sangeet ceremony in the movie. Her other daughter, Ira Dubey is also an actress and starred in The President Is Coming with Konkona Sen Sharma and 'Aisha' opposite Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol. Her sister Lushin Dubey is also a theatre actor and director.

Lillete Dubey is an actress who has suited herself equally into theatre and films. She had been initiated with Greek tragedies and classics in Barry John’s academy. Later, she founded the Theatre Action Group in Delhi. From being an actor, producer and director of numerous plays in theatre, her fortunes altered at the age of 36 when she first entered into television, and soon, into films. She made her debut on television in the Star Plus series Kabhie Kabhie in 1997, where she had played the role of Shama Joshi. The first Bollywood film in which she acted was Love you Hamesha (1999). Even after having 35 years of experience in theatre and films, Lillete had given her first ever audition for a film, which happened to be the Hollywood movie The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2011). Lillete Dubey (born 7 September 1953) is an Indian actress and theatre director. She has worked in Indian and international theatre, television and films in Hindi and English languages. Dubey began her career with Barry John in Delhi and was the founding member of his group - Theatre Action Group in 1973.
