Cam Joslin Gigandet (pronounced /d&#;i&#;&#;&#;&#;n&#;de&#;/; born August 16, ) is an American actor, whose roles have included Twilight, The O.C., Never Back Down, The Roommate, Burlesque and Priest.
Early life
Gigandet was born in Tacoma, Washington, to Jay and Kim Gigandet. His sister, Kelsie Gigandet, is a celebrity hairstylist. In high school, he was a lightly recruited quarterback until he quit the team before his senior season, after losing the starting job to an underclassman.[citation needed] After graduating from Auburn Senior High School in Auburn, Washington in , he moved to California, where he attended Santa Monica College, a community college, and took an acting class.
