    Chances are you're familiar with Wally (Waldo in the US), the character in the red and vit striped shirt who became a pop culture icon in the 1980s. Created by British illustrator Martin Handford, the Where's Wally? franchise has won thousands of hearts all over the world.

    Handford's work was the first to popularize what we know today as search and find or seek and find illustration a popular genre of children's books aimed at creating challenges to find characters and objects in large, detail-filled compositions.
