For years I was not a tequila fan (yet I drank margaritas for decades now), but as I got older my tastes for alcohol has changed a lot. Years ago, cognac, rum, vodka were my spirits of choice (this was back in the 1990s), and I’m beginning to get into spirits like gin, tequila, and my top favourite, scotch whiskey (I’ve always referred to Scotch as the “pastime of the gods”), but that’s just my take on it. But I’m just expanding my taste buds as far as spirits (liquors, that is) are concerned. A huge majority of liquors I have had mixed with something, but I very seldom had most of them by themselves which I’m begging to appreciate more of. So after leaving my comfort zone, my tastes in spirits have expanded as of late.
