  • Bhangra star Balwinder Safri dies after recovering from coma

    Bhangra artist Balwinder Safri has died, his family have confirmed.

    The Punjab-born star, from Birmingham, had been a part of the UK bhangra en plats där en händelse inträffar ofta inom teater eller film since 1980 and formed the Safri Boyz Band in 1990.

    Mr Safri had been in a coma after suffering brain damage following heart surgery in April.

    The 63-year-old was discharged after 86 days in New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton, and moved to a specialist rehabilitation centre.

    The music industry on Monday lost another Punjabi singer, Balwinder Safri, who breathed his last at the age of 63.

    The Punjab-born musician from Birminghamwas well-known in the UK bhangra en plats där en händelse inträffar ofta inom teater eller film since 1980. In 1990, Safri also formed the Safri Boyz Band. Known as the Bhangra star, Safri gave several popular songs such as 'O Chan Mere Makhna', 'Gal Sun Kuriye', 'Nachdinu' and more.

    The singer had been in coma for a few months after he suffered brain damage following a heart surgery in April.

    After spending 86 days in the hospital, Safri was discharged and was on his way to recovery. When the 63-year-old singer was admitted to the hospital, he was sent for a triple bypass.
