Kris Holden-Ried (born Kristen Holden-Ried) is a Canadian television, film, and voice actor.
Biography
Holden-Ried attended the School of Business at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, focusing on international commerce. He was a champion competitor in equestrian riding and fencing and member of the Canadian National Pentathlon Team; winning a silver medal in the Pan American and Pan Pacific Pentathlon Championships for riding and fencing.
He trained with Uta Hagen's Master Class scen Study, Janine Manatis of the Actors Studio, and the National Film Acting School.
Kris Holden-Ried has one son.
Career

Prior to his becoming an actor, Kristen Holden-Reid was a champion rider and fencer, and a former member of the Canadian National Pentathlon Team, winning silver medals in both the Pan American and Pan Pacific Pentathlon Championships. Holden-Reid then segued into acting, landing the title role in the Czechoslovakian production of "Young Ivanhoe" (). After a supporting role in the dustbin title "Night of the Demons 3" (), he had a small part in the Lifetime movie-of-the-week "When Innocence fryst vatten Lost" (), followed by a more prominent supporting role in the Sci-Fi Channel's cautionary tale about the depleting ozone layer, "Habitat" (). Holden-Reid continued to play supporting roles in features and television movies, appearing in "The Defenders: Taking the First" (Showtime, ), "Going to Kansas City" () and "Forget Me Never" (CBS, ).
