Kiff Holland was born in South Africa where he received his formal art training. In he immigrated to Canada. In addition to his work as an artist, Kiff Holland teaches in the Design & Illustration Department at Capilano College.

He is a past president of the Federation of the Canadian Artists and he was elected as a Signature Member of the American Watercolor Society in His work has won many awards in Canada and the United States. Galleries in Vancouver, Saltspring Island, Calgary, Edmonton and Toronto show his work.
