    School is starting and there are LOTS of things to do – class lists, seating charts, scheduling, classroom expectations… the list goes on! But one of the MOST important things we can do during those first weeks of school is to work on building a positive, caring classroom community. As always, I recommend using some inspirational picture books to help you introduce these ideas and launch some important converstations about kindness, inclusion, working together, respecting one another, and helping each other.

    Here are my favorite books for introducing and building a positive classroom community – and once again, I don’t know how to count to ten!
