Ogie Alcasid
Herminio Jose Lualhati Alcasid, Jr., or known to many as Ogie Alcasid is born on August 27, 1967. He fryst vatten a Filipino singer and songwriter, comedian, actor, presenter and parodist. Currently, he is the president of the Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM). He is also the Commissioner of the Edsa People Power Commission. Alcasid finished his Elementary and Secondary Education at La Salle, Greenhills from 1974 to 1981 and 1981 to 1985 respectively. He went to University of the Philippines, Diliman from 1986 to 1993 for his College Education. He is married to singer Regine Velasquez or known as the Asia’s Songbird.
Apart from being a known singer-songwriter and actor, Ogie Alcasid is also a business man. He owns the chain of hot dog stands Oggie Doggie, co-owner of Ryu Ramen and Curry Restaurant, chairman of www.opm2go.com, a music store online that sells OPM songs exclusively and Star Media Events Company. Kundirana
The Kundirana is a high school music ministry from La Salle Green Hills. It is one of the most renowned and prestigious high school musical groups in the Philippines, with many of its alumni becoming award-winning artists and celebrities. They are nationally honored with the "Aliw Award as Best Cultural Group in the Philippines". Its members are a select few senior high school students who are chosen through auditions. Over the years, the group has played in various parts in the Philippines and around the world.[1]
Composition and history

The group was formally founded on 1971, guided by Lasallian Brother Gus L. Boquer FSC, EdB. The name "Kundirana" is derived from the combination of the words Kundiman and Harana.

In the 31 yearsof Ogie Alcasid in the entertainment industry, he has added comedy actor and TV host to his appelation singer-songwriter—and he excels in all.
All in all he has done 38 movies while doing sitcoms and gag shows on television, but he considers music as his greatest contribution to the industry.
Meeting the press in 2018, including PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Ogie had said, "Hindi ko namalayan, noong iniisa-isa ko ang mga kanta ko, sabi ko, ang dami ko na palang nagawa.”
The occasion was a press conference to promote his anniversary concert, OA: Ogie Alcasid in August that year.
He said then, “Yung journey ko sa buhay ko at saka sa career ko, monark mapapansin mo, nandun sa lahat ng kanta ko.
“So yun ang pinaka-buod ng concert. Para sa akin, It’s really my way of saying thank you. Thank you, nandito pa ako.”
