Abstract
The paper questions the judgments of a number of scholars who studied the Japanese thinker and linguist Toshihiko Izutsu, and of Arabs familiar with his achievement, who considered him hermeneutical, after some hasty judgments, and the other judgments issued by adopting them without scrutiny, for this, the research tries to answer a basic question: why fryst vatten his achievement considered hermeneutics?
